This May, Heroes World is launching a hybrid Warhammer 40,000 leagueācombining the structure of competitive play with the freedom of casual gaming. With only 16 seats available, this is a focused, skill-driven league where your main matches matterābut the battlefield never closes.
Bring your best 2,000-point army for ranked play, then jump into bonus games anytime to experiment, practice, or just enjoy more Warhammer.

Entry: $60
Player Cap: 16 players only
Army Size (Ranked Games): 2,000 points
Rounds: 5 Swiss competitive rounds
Time Limit: 3 hours per round
Rankings: Based on win/loss record
Tiebreakers:

Proxies: 20% of your army can be minor proxies or 3D printed (must match base size, height and look similar to Games Workshop models). Players may ask the store for approval ahead of time.
- Painted Armies: Must be Battle Ready painted to be eligible for ranked play
- Game time limit: At time, players finish the battle phase. So each player receives the same number of rounds played.

š Prizing
With a minimum of eight players, 50% of the buy in will go into a prize pool for store credit. Each additional player over eight will add 6% more to the prize pool. If we have 16 players register, then 100% ($960) of the buy in will go into the prize pool.
For example the store credit pay out will look like the following with a full 16 player league.
1st:Ā $250 store credit
2nd:Ā $180 store credit
3rdā4th:Ā $120 store credit each
5thā8th:Ā $70 store credit eachĀ
Store credit can only be used towards in stock or special order items. Not for new releases.
This league is built for players who want structured competition without losing the freedom to play more games, test ideas, and stay active all month long.
