Pandemic Iberia Board Game | Heroes World
Pandemic Iberia is a standalone cooperative board game that brings the classic Pandemic system to the Iberian Peninsula in the mid nineteenth century. Malaria, typhus, cholera, and yellow fever threaten the region, and players must work together as members of the Second Royal Philanthropic Expedition to prevent widespread devastation.
Choose from seven unique roles such as the rural doctor or agronomist, each offering distinct abilities to support the team. Travel by carriage, boat, and train as you treat patients, share knowledge, and research methods to prevent disease spread. Players can purify water supplies to slow infections or build railroads to improve mobility between cities, adding new layers of strategy to the familiar cooperative structure.
In addition to the core experience, Iberia includes two historical variants. Influx of Patients increases pressure on hospitals, while the virulent disease variant introduces more dangerous outbreaks with unique behavior. Victory depends on coordination and long term planning, as the team either succeeds together or falls to the advancing diseases.
